As a director, I am incredibly invested in telling stories whose breadths and scopes stretch the human body to its physical limitations and expand outside of the conventional theatre space. I have had the most fun encountering these challenges through classical works which skirmish with the major ideas of humanity and in the stories which we usually reserve for children, but I believe there is also breadth and scope to be unearthed in many other places. Even shows with couches in them. Maybe.
Always on the look out for radical measures of accessibility and the breaking down of exclusionary theatrical conventions. Read more here.
